The Lucas Type L471 Rectangle Glass Red Lens were used on Multiple British cars, and common from 1948-1954, this light design is easily identified by the following traits: Glass Lens- Not later plastic, held in place with a chrome plated bezel with a single screw on top and bottom. An original, or a decent replacement lens will have LUCAS L471 cast into the front of the glass. The lower priced glass replacements will not always have this always cast into it.
